Story
To my family and friends
I’m taking part in this fundraising event in support of stomach cancer research. Stomach cancer is one of the rare cancers where there is no early diagnosis, very limited treatment options and survival rates of less than 10%.
This event is part of a challenge set up by my very good friend Trine in memory of her husband who passed away from stomach cancer. Matt was young and fit and only 40 years old when he died leaving behind two young boys who are now 8 and 6.
If I can ask you to either join us or donate, to make sure we raise awareness and funds towards research to help others in the future including Trine’s boys who are at a high risk from getting this disease too.
Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations made through this platform are tax deductible (over $2) and will be remitted directly through to the GI Cancer Institute and designated specifically to stomach cancer research.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and dig deep ??). Please share this page to create as much awareness as possible.
